   Thursday, 26 Jun 2025 - Cipsoft Formulas
Promise was the first server to implement cipsoft skills system to their server. Now months later we have another major update from the leaked cipsoft server that's been reverse engineered.

Promise is officially the ONLY unique server out there with actual values in the gameplay from the leaked engine to this extent. Paladins and Knights are now fully authentic, along with monsters.

All the accurate formulas only exist on Promise as an otserver.

   Thursday, 19 Jun 2025 - Mystic Bags!

With today’s server save, we’ve introduced Mystic Bags.

These rare bags have a 50% chance to either break or transform into a random enchant rune found on our items page. These runes can be used to apply attributes to your equipment and weapons, giving your gear a powerful edge.

Mystic Bags are rare drops, but can be looted from any lootable elite creature with 2 or 3 stars.

To test the system and enhance the hunting experience, we’ve increased the spawn rate of elite creatures. The aim is to keep the challenge meaningful, so that finally looting a Mystic Bag or attributed item feels truly satisfying.

Keep in mind:

  • Only 2- and 3-star elite creatures can drop Mystic Bags.

  • Elite creatures have an higher overall loot chance than regular monsters which as a result, they now offer better opportunities to loot attributed items, giving elite hunts a much stronger purpose.

   Thursday, 12 Jun 2025 - Attribute System

We’re excited to announce that the Attribute System has officially been implemented and is currently under review. We encourage all players to help us fine-tune this feature by submitting any bugs or issues via our Discord server by creating a ticket in the #report-bug channel.

The new system includes a “no-loss” mechanic, meaning you can apply attributes to your weapons without any risk of losing existing attributes or damaging your item. This allows you to experiment freely without fear of breaking or deleting your gear.

How It Works

To enchant an item with attributes, you’ll need a rune, such as the Ember Rune. These can be obtained by looting Mystic Bags dropped by creatures or, in the future, through crafting (currently in development).

Here’s an example:

  • You apply an Ember Rune to lets say a Classification 3 weapon.

  • The attribute roll is chance-based. You might get lucky and roll one or more attributes or you might get unlucky and roll none at all!

  • Once an attribute is added, that specific slot is locked. You cannot overwrite it with the same rune.

  • However, you can continue using Ember Runes to unlock the remaining available slots (up to 3 for a Classification 3 weapon).

  • If you're not happy with your attributes you can always use a fiery stone to remove all attributes.

Each item’s classification determines how many attributes it can hold. To see what attributes a specific item can have, simply hover over the corresponding rune on the item’s info page. Furthermore equipment and their equivalent attributes are also centered around vocations. For instance skull staff which is a favoured mage weapon due to its low capacity and high attack can carry mage attributes such as mana leech, magic level and so on.

Attribute System Structure

The system is being rolled out in three parts:

  1. Lootable Attributes
Creatures that drop items now have a chance to drop them with random attributes. The number and type of attributes (1 to 3) are determined when the creature is defeated and are influenced by the item’s classification.

  2. Mystic Bags
Rare and valuable, Mystic Bags have a chance to contain one of six enchantable runes. These can be used immediately to apply attributes to your equipment.

  3. Rune Crafting (Coming Soon)
Players will be able to collect fragments and use the crafting skill to create attribute runes—either for personal use or trade. The crafting system is currently under development.

Current Limitations

To keep the system simple during testing, orbs are not yet required to apply runes. This means any rune you obtain can be used directly on your gear. Orbs will be introduced in a later update as part of the attribute enhancement ecosystem.

You can view a complete list of all available runes.
To see which attributes are available for a specific item, simply hover over the rune icon on that item's page in our Items section
